Jo's Neuro Cafe Enquire

Our story

A café built around
how people actually feel

Inside Jo's Neuro Cafe

Jo's Neuro Cafe started with a simple question: what would a coffee house feel like if it was actually built for the people who find the world a little loud?

We're an independent café on Downing Street in Farnham. Our owner is neurodivergent, and so are a good number of the people who've become regulars, so from day one, this place has been shaped with that in mind. Quieter corners if you need them. Gentle lighting. Staff who understand that a calm space and a genuine welcome can matter just as much as a good espresso.

That doesn't mean it's a quiet place, in fact it's often full of life. It means we've thought about the details: nowhere feels like it's forcing you to perform, and nobody's rushed out of their seat. Whether you're settling in with a book, meeting a friend, or just need somewhere steady to sit for twenty minutes, you're welcome here exactly as you are.

Coffee is still the heart of it. We take it seriously, sourcing well and pouring properly, because a genuinely good cup is its own kind of comfort. We call it food for thought: a little lift for a slow morning, something steady to carry you through a busy one. Nothing more complicated than a really good coffee, made with people in mind.

Jo's is still growing. The café in Farnham comes first, our coffee truck is about to take that same welcome out to events across the region, evenings at Jo's are on the way, and our own coffee to take home isn't far behind. One step at a time, built the same way the café was: thoughtfully, and for real people.
